The Future Knows Her NameBy Wolf & Velvet™

About

Built by two women
who kept noticing.

The Future Knows Her Name is an independent, global-facing product endorsed By Wolf & Velvet™. Its purpose is practical digital fluency: helping women understand and shape how they appear, so that digital erasure, algorithmic invisibility and digital exclusion don’t quietly narrow their economic opportunity.

Shinavia McKinney

Co-founder

Shinavia McKinney is a strategist and licensed therapist who leads with both rigor and heart. She believes people should have room to explore what they could build, even before they know where to begin. Her experience in business operations, human resources, and clinical mental health shapes how she helps founders, leaders, and organizations turn possibility into momentum. She understands that meaningful change involves both the decisions an organization makes and the people who bring those decisions to life. Her instinct for connecting people creates room for relationships, ideas, and opportunities to develop into something lasting. As co-founder of Wolf & Velvet™, she is building a house where strategy has style, ambition has somewhere to go, and substance always shifts something.

Precious “Preciosa” Myers-Brown

Co-founder · Chief Innovation and Dream Officer (CINO)

Precious “Preciosa” Myers-Brown believes people deserve more say in the lives they live and the futures they help create. That belief runs through her work in organizational leadership and transformation, where she questions inherited limits and helps people see what they could do differently. Her experience, together with Chief Digital Officer training, informs her approach as an innovation strategist: connecting new possibilities with the leadership, practical decisions, and changes that bring them to life. Across the businesses she builds, her writing, and her speaking, she works to unhinge what keeps people from ownership, economic opportunity, and the freedom to live on their own terms. A multi-hyphenated entrepreneur, she is the founder of Vista Supports and author of Tech Equity: Freedom Through Enabling Technology. Through Wolf & Velvet™, she brings that purpose into a partnership for people ready to act on a bigger possibility.

A bigger idea of what is possible.

Shinavia McKinney and Precious “Preciosa” Myers-Brown bring experience across business operations, human resources, clinical mental health, enabling and expanding technology, and community services. Together, they help women consider new possibilities, connect with relevant expertise, and choose a practical way forward for their digital presence and economic opportunity.

They co-host the podcast and co-lead this work.

The mission

Practical, not prophetic.

We teach digital fluency in plain language, center women of color, and welcome all interested women. Participation is possible internationally, and you don’t need a business to belong — career participation and self-agency count just as much.

We’re careful about what we claim. We can’t promise search inclusion, jobs, savings, AI citations or protection from erasure. What we can do is explain how visibility works, help you build a record you control, and stay honest about the rest.
